Building five-star ventures with white-glove intention.
LUXURY • CULTURE • BUSINESS
Where businesses are shaped with taste, discipline, and enduring value.
For those who have already built and are discerning about what’s next.
Momentum is present, but clarity on what’s comes next is not; this is often where my work begins.
About Maine
Maine Uy-Jainani’s work revolves around Modern Acquisitions, her framework for how acquisition- what we buy, collect, upgrade, and abandon- shapes identity. She runs Pawchester, a pet hospitality in Greenhills. She writes Aftertaste Editions, a publication applying that framework to luxury, taste, and consumer behaviour.
She holds credentials from UAL, WSET, and Sotheby's Institute of Art London.
She advises select ventures privately.
Areas of Focus
Each aspect is approached with discipline, particularly when a business is no longer lacking ideas but needs more conviction and clarity.
• Strategic Direction
Recognising that while growth exists, clarity on what comes next often does not.
• Brand Codification
Defining the standards, principles, and boundaries a business chooses to uphold.
• Cultural Positioning
Building relevance through alignment with culture, context, and what the business chooses to stand beside.
• Price Integrity
Establishing pricing policies that reflect an elevated position rather than reacting to the market.
• Experiential Design
Shaping how a brand is experienced and remembered beyond the brand’s visual identities.
For those who have built and are now ready to transition from scaling unsustainably to building deliberately and intentionally.
You’re about to enter a quieter but more fulfilling phase, where the pressure is gone, scaling is no longer the focus, and building on what will last becomes the work.
